Cakes: Grandma's Carrot Cake | Submitted By: Brenda Wiley
Mon, 20 Oct 2008 13:20:46 GMT
This recipe has been a favorite in our family for three generations. Different from traditional carrot cakes, this cake is extremely moist and flavorful and is topped with a buttermilk glaze while still warm. Try it and I think you will agree that it is the best!! Be certain to reduce the baking temperature to 325 degrees F(165 degrees C) if using a glass baking pan.Permalink : http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Grandmas-Carrot-Cake/Detail.aspx?src=rss

Cobblers, Crisps, Crumbles: Best Peach Cobbler Ever | Submitted By: Jill Saunders
Mon, 20 Oct 2008 13:20:46 GMT
In the winter make this 9x13-inch cobbler with canned peaches, in the summer use fresh ones. But either way this cobbler is wonderful. The batter goes in the pan before the spiced peaches, and it 's all topped off with cinnamon and nutmeg. Then it 's baked for an hour.Permalink : http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Best-Peach-Cobbler-Ever/Detail.aspx?src=rss

Tooth shatteringly hard cookies with a hint of ginger. Eating them with strong coffee reminds me of the steamy night markets of Morocco.Permalink : http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Tooth-Splitting-Gingernuts/Detail.aspx?src=rss

Custards and Puddings: Creme Brulee II | Submitted By: Brian Hengen
Mon, 20 Oct 2008 13:20:46 GMT
A wonderful baked creme brulee. Use white or brown sugar for the top. If you do not have a kitchen torch, a regular propane torch can be used or simply place the custard under the broiler for a few minutes. Permalink : http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Creme-Brulee-II/Detail.aspx?src=rss
